I get about half of my superfoods from Z-Natural Foods .
The rest I get from Walmart (surprisingly), Natural Zing, or other random places around the Internet (even Etsy at times).
The best deals and variety seem to be found at Z-Natural Foods , however.
Let's see what was in my latest order:
- Chaga Mushroom Extract Powder - Organic - 1 lb
- Instant Mushroom Coffee - Organic - 1 lb
- Matcha Green Tea Powder - Organic - 4 oz
- Spanish Bee Pollen - 1 lb
- Pumpkin Seed Protein - Organic - 1 lb
- Triphala (Trifala) Powder - Organic - 1 lb
- Cacao Paste Wafers - Organic - 1 lb
- Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract Powder - Organic - 1 lb
- Green Power - Organic SuperGreens Blend - 1 lb
- Beet Root Powder - Organic - 1 lb
I bought the Bee Pollen, Cacao Wafers, and Lion's Mane Extract for specific purposes. I like to sprinkle the Bee Pollen on a banana smothered with sunflower seed butter and honey. I call it a "raw twinkie". The cacao wafers are for making chocolate. I have new molds I haven't even used yet! The time to make chocolate is near.... The Lion's Mane Extract is for my wife. She likes it better than psych meds, and may help her get off of them entirely one day.
The rest goes into smoothies. Here's the smoothie I made for lunch today:
- 1 banana
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 tsp Chaga powder
- 1 tbsp instant mushroom coffee powder
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Seed Protein
- 1/4 tsp Triphala
- 1 tsp Green Power
- 1 tsp Beet Rood powder
- 1 tbsp raw local honey
- 1 "squirt" liquid stevia
- enough water to blend
Throw that into your favorite blender and blend until smooth. You'll be feeling good in no time.
- Without Z-Natural Foods , I can afford to do this with one or two ingredients at a time.
- Z-Natural Foods gives me the ability to add variety to my daily smoothie regimen. I suggest you give them a try. Use this link for a 10% off discount code.
